Background: A Sky Pirate of Legend, Balthier traverses the skies with his Viera partner, Fran. At the end of the war, once Princess Ashe was named Queen Ashelia, the pirate returned to his life in the skies. After his adventures at the Cache of Galbados and dealing with the Aegyl and the Judge of Wings, he hoped to settle back into things alongside Fran. However, upon Fran falling ill, the pirate was forced to seek the aid of one Squall Leonhart. With the Fates taking charge, the Leading Man was able to heal his Viera lover and make a deep bond with the dark fighter, Squall. Time passed and his love with Fran bore their daughter, Krja, though Balthier's story continues...
